Six Flags New Orleans closed on August 27th, 2005 in preparation for Hurricane Katrina.

The park never reopened.


The film geek in me would not mind an entire 60-minute episode of The Walking Dead be dedicated solely to sequences of decaying cities.

28 Days Later was the first time I had heard 'Godspeed You! Black Emperor,' and I couldn't believe this track was not written solely for the scene in the film.
